Navigating the Talmud: An Introduction to Talmud Learning with Rabbinic Intern Natan Hason is a session at Sutton Place Synagogue introducing the study of the Talmud. Led by Rabbinic Intern Natan Hason, over three sessions participants will wrestle with the famous Talmudic discussion of the Ben Sorer U'Moreh (The Stubborn and Rebellious Son). The sessions serve as an introduction for those new to this foundational text, as well as an opportunity to refine and develop skills for those with some experience. Participants should be able to sound out Hebrew text, but no prior knowledge of Talmud or Hebrew comprehension is required.
