New York Nightingales are a vocal trio performing swing and jazz standards from the Great American Songbook, in the spirit of the Andrews Sisters and the Boswell Sisters. Founded in 2015 by producer Jennifer Mergele, the current all-female line-up brings harmonies from Brianna Barnhart, Katy Lombardi, and Natasha Bergman with improvisations from pianist Julia Chen and bassist Tina Lama. They perform in and around New York City, including MTA Music Program appearances in the subway.
