Strand Bookstore hosts a signing line event with comedian and restaurateur Nigel Ng, known as Uncle Roger, in its 3rd floor Rare Book Room. He appears for his debut cookbook 'Don’t Mess Up Your Rice', a humorous guide to authentic Asian cooking. The book gathers his signature comedic voice and strong opinions, from egg fried rice and noodles to satay, sweet and sour pork, and desserts, while critiquing Western misconceptions. Doors open half an hour before it starts, and the event space is accessible via elevator.
