An immersive concert evening centered on Claude Debussy's Danse sacrée et danse profane, a radiant work of extraordinary color bringing harp and strings together in music that is sensual, mysterious, and radiant. Opportunity Music Project (OMP) presents it as its second annual side-by-side concert, in which advanced students share the stage with the world-class musicians who mentor them, joined by special guest artists including the critically acclaimed Ivalas Quartet. The program also includes spirited works by David Diamond and bold contemporary compositions by OMP faculty member Kunal Gala and alumnus Alfredas Leung, bringing a raw, energetic edge to the evening.
