Phone-Free Friday invites visitors to experience the museum with a little less distraction, as a simple experiment in attention: put the phone away, look around, and see how it changes your perspective. It is presented by the Museum of the Moving Image in partnership with Light. Guests who check their smartphones in the lobby receive 50% off general admission, so they can spend a few hours more fully present with the exhibitions, programs, and people around them. Free related programs may include workshops, receptions, special guests, and more; the offer is first come, first served, with limited capacity.
