Roman Polanski's 1968 slow-burn thriller follows young marrieds Rosemary and Guy, who befriend their elder neighbors in Central Park West. When an isolated and abandoned Rosemary falls into a paranoiac tailspin while expecting her first child, she begins to wonder why everyone is so eager for her to take her daily dose of tannis root. A masterclass in slow-building suspense, it stars Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes alongside Ruth Gordon and Sidney Blackmer.
