Senior Sessions are weekly 45-minute recreational math classes for adults, and this one, "Gallery of Graphs," is an interactive introduction to graph theory. It is run by the National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) with its experienced presenters, for senior citizens to exercise their brains alongside a collegial cohort. The session explores the connection between vertices and edges — including the walls of any house — how to tell whether a ghost can haunt a castle or a figure can be drawn without lifting the pen, and what bridges in 18th-century Prussia have to do with it. Materials needed: pencil, paper, and colored pens or markers (4 colors).
