Sidewalk Study: WANT GROWS IN RAINY PLACES is a discussion session held in the East Village. It is led by Connor & Anha of the Strother School of Radical Attention, and centers on Tove Ditlevsen's short story 'The Trouble With Happiness' and the silk umbrella its young heroine cannot stop fantasizing about. The group takes a small longing seriously, asking what lies underneath our desires, what their roots are, and whether we can accept them — and ourselves — as they are.
