Soul Patrol is a documentary screening followed by a Q&A. Director J.M. Harper follows Vietnam War veterans from the war's first Black special ops team, using their personal Super 8 footage, photographs, and audio recordings. As the surviving members reunite in a hotel, the film explores memory, brotherhood, and the contradiction of fighting for freedom abroad while facing inequality at home. The screening is followed by a Q&A with Harper and Ed Emanuel, the documentary's subject and author of the book Soul Patrol.
