Stones in the Water is a night of poetry with Sarah Kay, Anis Mojgani, Clint Smith, and Hanif Abdurraqib. Propelled by their deep and abiding friendship, the four have performed a reading together annually for the past nine years. After popular engagements during the last two seasons of I Guess It Was My Destiny To Live So Long at BAM, this marks its tenth performance of inspiring poetic expression. Year after year, the profoundly intimate offering creates a space for artists and audiences to see how care, camaraderie, and mutual regard can fortify and amplify artistic practices.
