"Student Showcase No. 2: A Celebration of Strings" is a chamber music evening devoted entirely to string instruments, with string duos and string quartets performing repertoire from Mozart and Beethoven to Bartók and Isang Yun. It is presented by the Mannes School of Music as part of the Mannes Chamber Music Festival, a weeklong series celebrating students' accomplishments in chamber music during the semester as well as faculty and guest performers. The concert takes place in Stiefel Hall and is free and open to the public, with access to the festival via a CHAMBER PASS registration.
