A talk exploring Loring McMillen's 'Map of Staten Island During the Revolution, 1775-1783,' which he created in 1933. In this 250th anniversary year, Staten Islander Janet Medoro shares what her research in the McMillen archive at Historic Richmond Town revealed about the sources he consulted, the people he highlighted, and how this portrait of Revolutionary Era Staten Island came to be. Medoro is a 6th generation Staten Island resident, a former critical care nurse of over forty years, and author of the book 'Our Staten Island.'
