The Parallax View is a feature film screening at a cinema on Ludlow Street. Alan J. Pakula directed this 1974 thriller starring Warren Beatty as an anti-authoritarian investigative reporter. After an ex-girlfriend brings him an eyewitness report on the assassination of a sitting U.S. senator that contradicts the official story, he follows a thread to the shadowy Parallax Corporation, a secret right-wing organization specializing in brainwashing and political hits that will stop at nothing to keep its grip on power.
