A hands-on workshop at Resobox in the East Village where you shape wasanbon, a traditional Japanese pressed sugar refined by hand in Shikoku, into sweets using carved wooden molds. The instructor is Yuki Sakura, and the class covers pressing, packing and releasing the sugar with no baking and no experience needed. All materials are included, and at the end you take home the wasanbon sweets you made yourself.
