A weekly 90-minute bird tour on Governors Island, where nearly 240 bird species have been spotted. It is run by NYC Bird Alliance and welcomes both expert birders and beginners to discover what makes the island an excellent place for birding. Tours leave from Soissons Landing, next to the Welcome Center, and are offered weekly on Saturdays through the end of October.
