Working with Words: Learning English Through Drama is a workshop series on learning English through drama, held at the Long Island City library location. Lincoln Center Theater is behind it, and the sessions use theater as a structure for those learning English to express themselves creatively and joyfully, building confidence in speaking and tools for self-expression. Anel Carmona, a Theatre Artist from Guadalajara, Mexico who has participated in dozens of plays across North America, leads the workshops. They are best suited for teens but open to all, and attendees may join for one or all sessions.
