An evening talk marking the closing night of photojournalist Ziv Koren's October 7 exhibition at the Bernard Museum of Judaica. After October 7, 2023, Koren headed south from Tel Aviv and spent five months documenting destruction, resilience, grief and solidarity across Israel. A veteran photojournalist who has covered conflicts worldwide, he says nothing prepared him for that day. On this night he discusses the emotional toll of witnessing trauma, the courage he encountered, and the responsibility of preserving a visual record that cannot be distorted or forgotten.
