The Lamrim Retreat is a meditation retreat on the Lamrim meditations, which contain the essence of all Buddha's wisdom and teachings and lead to lasting inner peace and happiness when practised regularly. It is led by Gen Kelsang Gyalchog, who has studied and taught Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of the venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche since 1993 and was for many years the centre teacher at the Nalanda centre in Lucerne and the Menla centre in Locarno. The sessions include a talk, Buddhist prayers and quiet time for contemplation and meditation; breaks offer time for walks and exchange with other meditators. The retreat begins on Thursday evening with an introduction and ends on Sunday at midday.
