Mahayana Grundsätze is a Buddhist puja in which eight precepts are taken and kept purely for twenty-four hours. Behind the practice is the Kadampa Meditationszentrum Schweiz, where sung prayers combined with meditation practices take place regularly. Motivated by Bodhichitta, the practice is especially powerful for purifying negativity, accumulating merit and creating the cause for attaining enlightenment. One first receives the precepts from a qualified teacher and can then take them alone as often as one wishes.
