A talk in the AKTIVIA series on the question of why Switzerland became rich. Dr. Markus Somm, publisher and editor-in-chief of the Nebelspalter, presents his book of the same title. He shows that Switzerland's economic success did not arise by chance but rests on developments reaching back many centuries. He explains which political, social and economic factors laid the groundwork for stability, innovation and prosperity early on.
