This exhibition at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is the first solo show of Swiss textile designer Christoph Hefti (born 1967), regarded as one of the country's outstanding textile designers. His work moves between textiles, fashion, ceramics, video and stage, weaving mystical, poetic stories together with precise craftsmanship. The show presents hand-knotted rugs, patchwork and printed textiles, as well as ceramics, furniture, costumes and performative stagings. Eyes, moons and cats fill a surreal, colourful and wild universe between design and art.
