An English-language reading and discussion with Wagdy El Komy, an exiled writer originally from Egypt. Together with Ana Sobral and Martin Mühlheim, two short stories recently published on the platform Weiter Schreiben Schweiz will be discussed. El Komy's stories engage with the myth of Noah's Ark in relation to Western European asylum policy, raising questions of solidarity, ethics and belonging. The event is part of the series „Poetographien: Literarische Dialoge Zurich James Joyce Foundation".
