The Gartenpause is a monthly gathering at the Gärtnerhaus with tea, coffee and a relaxed exchange about gardens and the world. It is led by Ursula Dürst and Christine Wüest of Grün Stadt Zürich. The November theme is compost: how does good compost soil form, which creatures live and work in it, and what happens to compost in winter? There will be an input starting at 14:15, tips for garden or worm compost, and a chance to get hands-on – open to curious people from all over the world, no prior knowledge needed.
