A talk in the Art in Conflict series that puts young people at the centre who took part in the theatre project ICH.KRIEG.DIE.KRISE. The series is run by artasfoundation, the Swiss foundation for art in conflict regions, together with the Zurich University of the Arts and the Gessnerallee. Following a months-long writing and acting workshop on war, crisis and militarisation, the young people created a theatre piece about growing up in a time of global crises. In the conversation they talk about their artistic process and about what role theatre can play when powerlessness and insecurity grow.
