Jahresreferat 2024 is a lecture titled "Wie verändert KI das Bildungswesen?". In it, Peter Rigert, who researches and teaches at the Lucerne University of Teacher Education, gives an overview of the changes artificial intelligence has already brought to the education system and looks ahead to the near future. He highlights AI's potential to optimise learning processes and personalise educational offerings, and raises questions: does using AI really lead to better learning, are certain skills becoming obsolete, and could even the role of teachers be at stake? Rigert's research focuses on how technologies change education, specialising in digital transformation and STEM promotion. An apéro and exchange follow the lecture.
