An important collection of ancient art and crafts from the Mediterranean region and the Near East. The Archaeological Collection of the University of Zurich, the oldest archaeological museum in Switzerland (1854), displays original ancient works as well as historical casts of ancient statues. These offer a comprehensive overview of Greco-Roman sculpture. Special exhibitions complement the display with insights into the latest archaeological research.
