A reading with conversation around the graphic novel „Langer Atem“. Artist Jeong-in Mun talks with Angela Heimberg about her book, which tells the family history of three generations of women – at its centre the grandmother Chunja, who earned her family's living as a haenyeo diver harvesting seafood off the coast of the South Korean island of Jeju. The conversation takes place in English, while the comic panels are projected in German. It is a story of hardship, the beauty and dangers of the sea, and female bonds echoing across generations.
