«Madleens» is a documentary screening as part of the Films for Future Festival in Zurich. The film follows a civilian ship crew which, when official aid fails to appear, organizes the rescue themselves on a mission to deliver urgently needed help. The screening is organized by films for future; from 1 to 30 November 2026 the festival presents over 100 films followed by panel discussions. Attendees can exchange ideas with filmmakers, activists and other panel guests about a livable future.
