"Meeting the Buddha" is a moving documentary about the life and timeless legacy of the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, one of the most significant spiritual masters of the 20th century. Director Marta György-Kessler captures the unbreakable bond between teacher and students in touching, partly previously unseen footage. The film follows the historic journey of his close Western disciples, Hannah and Lama Ole Nydahl, who brought Tibetan Buddhism to the West. It presents a living transmission of wisdom that transcends borders and lifetimes.
