Räbenschnitzen is a craft activity where children and adults carve turnips and light them with candles. It is run by the community centre GZ Wollishofen at its Neubühl location, with Simon Laimbacher as the contact. Turnips and tools are provided, no registration is needed, and children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. The glowing turnips are then carried through the streets in the traditional Wollishofen Räbeliechtli parade, symbolising light in the dark season.
