A panel discussion on the dark sides of the psychedelic renaissance – how the promise of healing, insight and redemption can turn into new dependencies and power structures. It examines three areas of tension: guru figures and self-inflation, appropriation by right-wing milieus, and the connection with transhumanism and tech elites. The panel brings together political scientist Christopher Coenen, anthropologist Nicolas Langlitz and counsellor Sarah Pohl. The conversation asks what psychedelic experiences actually say about the world and who defines their meaning.
