At the Literaturhaus Zürich, the international Jonathan Swift Prize for satirical and comic literature is awarded to Irene Dische. The prize, endowed with 20,000 Swiss francs, is presented there. The jury of Dirk Vaihinger, Ursula Zangger and Thomas Strässle praises Dische as a sharp observer of society who tells with cool compassion of eccentric personalities and family psychodynamics. The event is sold out; registration was possible at info@literaturhaus.ch.
