«wow² Space – Mensch und All» is a free two-day public format by ETH Zurich devoted to questions of space and spaceflight research, such as living on the Moon, climate research from space and life as an analog astronaut. In the ETH main building, visitors meet researchers and experts at talks, live podcasts and debates, including analog astronaut Eleonore Poli, climate researcher Andreas Prein and Thomas Zurbuchen, formerly science director at NASA. Entertaining formats such as «BLACK BOX» and «Cook the Science» turn research into punchlines and show cooking without gravity. Exhibitions and demonstrations, including the four-legged lunar robot LunarLeaper and the student-built Mars rover CRATER, along with guided tours, planetarium shows and workshops for children and teenagers, complete a broad programme for all ages.
