"Zwei Abstimmungen, eine Frage: Was ist fair?" is a discussion event held ahead of the national vote on 29 November. It is organised by the Paulus Akademie and moderated by Dana Sindermann, head of its economics and social ethics department. The topics are the financing of the 13th old-age pension through a value-added tax increase and the taxation of married couples following the decided switch to individual taxation. The guests are Carlo Knöpfel, professor of social policy, and Fabian Baumer of the Federal Tax Administration; the admission fee including a drink is CHF 30, reduced CHF 20, and registration by 1 November is requested.
