20. Demo für sicheren Verkehr auf der Marienfelder Allee

The 20th Demo for Safe Traffic on the Marienfelder Allee is a bicycle demonstration with rallies that leads through Tempelhof. It is organised by the Bündnis Marienfelder Allee alliance, which includes among others ADFC Tempelhof, the Berlin neighbourhood centres Marie-Li, the neighbourhood centre Ufa Fabrik, Fuß e.V. and the Ecumenical Environmental Group Lichtenrade, supported by further initiatives such as BUND Berlin, Respect Cyclists and VCD Nordost. The demands are safe routes to school and daycare, safety on footpaths, the reinstatement of 30 km/h, barrier-free crossing options such as zebra crossings and traffic lights, and a cycle path for everyone. The meeting point is directly in front of the Marienfelde library, and the route runs along Marienfelder Allee, Großbeerenstraße and Hildburghauser Straße, ending back at the library.
