„A Man of No Importance“: comedy without a single word.
About
A wordless theatre piece called „A Man of No Importance“ comes to the JugendKulturZentrum PUMPE with the London ensemble Scrambled Egg. The evening is organised by the Verband Berliner Amateurbühnen in cooperation with the Bund Deutscher Amateurtheater, funded by the Federal Foreign Office. The comedy is a humorous spy parody about Norman, an unassuming cleaner at MI6 who dreams of becoming a successful secret agent and, after accidentally uncovering a secret bomb conspiracy, is hunted by the head of the intelligence service. Using expressive body language and no spoken words at all, full of slapstick, wild chases and surprising twists, the ensemble shows that theatre knows no language barriers.
