A PLACE TO STAY – Iván Argote

About
The exhibition A Place to Stay presents sculptures and three film works from the project Activissime in the outdoor area in front of the Eierhäuschen. Behind it is the artist Iván Argote, who for more than 15 years has been leading protest workshops with children as an exercise in critical thinking and to strengthen their voices. The films trace the main stages of this project and also address its origins, which lie in the activist experiences of Argote's parents in Colombia in the 1970s. The exhibition space is conceived as an inviting place to feel at ease where new workshops can take place.
