AFRO HAUS

AFRO HAUS is a club night at Gretchen with Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Reggaeton and Latin sounds, with the Afro Haus Soundsystem on the decks. Behind the event is the Berlin-founded label Afro Haus, which has set out since its beginnings to celebrate African culture in the diaspora. Beyond its monthly nightlife series, Afro Haus is also active with formats such as the Afro Food Festival and Afro Link Up, a networking event with panel discussions, to make BPoC entrepreneurs and artists visible and give them a platform. The label places great importance on creating safe spaces free of racism, xenophobia and homophobia.
