About
A reading from the book "Augen für die Kunst", which presents 50 artists of the present and past through one of their paintings, sculptures or installations each. The author Prof. Dr. Hans Dickel and co-author Liane Nelius read selected pointed texts, among others on Giovanni Bellini, Caspar David Friedrich, Henri Matisse and Jeff Wall, in which they describe the works and explore the question of the beautiful and the meaningful. The reading is accompanied by a large-format presentation of the pictures. The event is part of Bühnentausch, a cooperation between the Stadtbibliothek Reinickendorf and the Museum Reinickendorf; admission is free and no registration is required.
