Berlin, Du coole Sau - Eine Liebeserklärung
Punch Line, Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 1, 10785 Berlin, Tiergarten
About
“Berlin, Du coole Sau – Eine Liebeserklärung” is a musical show of the century that travels through the last 100 eventful years of Berlin's history. The journey through time starts in a 1920s Luna Park and ends in today's Berlin club Berghain, building a musical bridge from Swing to the Loveparade and from Marlene Dietrich to Seeed. The history is experienced through the eyes of Berlin restroom attendant Adele, played by the Berlin original Ades Zabel, who recounts the city's legendary nightlife, its highs and lows, and everything from the building of the Wall to its fall. The Capital Dance Orchestra presents, together with singers Sharon Brauner (book & direction) and Meta Hüper (musical direction), an evening of music, esprit and burlesque dance.
