About
"Berliner Kostproben" is a new series at the Tempelhof library presenting the diversity of Berlin's publishing landscape – to discover, browse and sample. Each evening features a conversation with a different Berlin publisher about their authors and programmes, making and publishing books, and what makes a publisher distinctive. The evening is moderated by Michael Bittner, a literary scholar, author and avid user of the library. It is accompanied by sweets from Berlin and international manufacturers and by a book exhibition of the publisher's programme at the library.
