Bibi Blocksberg - Die total verhexte Zeitreise
About
“Bibi Blocksberg – Die total verhexte Zeitreise” is a fantasy film for young audiences from Germany and Austria. When the big school internship comes up, Bibi has missed the registration and ends up with only a place at the museum – where a valuable music box disappears without a trace. Together with Marita she casts a spell to return to the night of the burglary and lands 139 years in the past at Klunkerburg Castle. There the two help Fritzi, whose nasty aunt Mathilde wants to seize the precious heirloom. Directed by Gregor Schnitzler with a screenplay by Bettina Börgerding, it stars among others Aithon Avgoustakis, Ludger Bökelmann and Philomena Amari.

Critics
6.2Good
Critics praise catchy songs, a likeable ensemble, charm and the castle setting's spectacle. They fault logical inconsistencies, weak tension and a soulless, regressive sequel approach.
