About

The Ingeborg-Drewitz-Bibliothek invites visitors to a picture-book cinema held for the St. Martin's and lantern festival. The organiser is the Stadtbibliothek Steglitz-Zehlendorf. Stories about St. Martin and sharing are told, encouraging children to join in and reflect. Afterwards, the children craft lanterns together and parade with them through the library in a traditional lantern procession, bringing light into the dark season; they may bring their own electric lanterns and tealights.
