At the picture-book cinema, Nesibe and Xemsê from the bilingual Kita Pîya daycare centre in Kreuzberg read the book „Dr. Jîjo“ by Sîya Sitav aloud in Kurdish (Kurmanji) and German. The story is about a visit to the doctor, Doctor Jîjo, which is something completely normal for children. The fear of doctors does not go away, but there are ways of dealing with it that children can reflect on while listening. The picture-book cinema takes place in cooperation with Kita Pîya (Yekmal e.V.).
