A bilingual neighbourhood walk in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg about the town twinning between the district and San Rafael del Sur in Nicaragua. It is jointly invited by the association Verein zur Förderung der Städtepartnerschaft Kreuzberg – San Rafael del Sur e.V. and the district office Bezirksamt Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, tracing the partnership from the controversial beginnings of the first West Berlin twinning with a city in the Global South in the 1980s to the challenges of today, with stories from people who shape the partnership. The tour lasts about two and a half hours, ends at Plaza San Rafael del Sur on Cuvrystraße and is accompanied in German and Spanish; registration is required.
