About
Buddy Program Meetup is a monthly gathering for LGBTQIA+ people in Berlin, this time exploring the topic of fear. It is led by J.L. McKain (BOOKDADDY), a Berlin-based choreographer, director and writer, as part of we are village's programme 'Queer matters digital'. After a round of introductions, meditation and grounding exercises, each person anonymously contributes a fear, which is then discussed together in a space that is open and free of judgement. The Buddy Program was created for queer people in Berlin to foster deep connections, meaningful conversations and mutual support; the event is held in English and German.
