Der Märchenkoffer

A family workshop for dance, music and fairy-tale fans aged 4 to 100, „Der Märchenkoffer“ combines dance, music, art and fairy-tale literature in an intergenerational format. In its „Märchen, Tanz & Digitale Bildwelten“ edition, artists Yvonne Leppin and Yukihiro Ikutani open the session with a dance performance featuring live digital drawing, devoted to tales and myths around the Tanuki and Japanese shape-shifters. Children and adults then explore the fairy-tale world of images through dance, make their own Origami paper figures with the artists, and finish gathered around the suitcase stage for a Kamishibai reading. The workshop lasts 90 minutes and is limited to 20 participants.
