About
The Musikalische Salon celebrates Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 270th birthday with a homage to the composer. The Tilia Quartet of the Staatskapelle Berlin performs the Clarinet Quintet in A major KV 581 and further works by Mozart together with clarinettist Matthias Glander, who also hosts the afternoon. Founded in 2005 and named after its musical home, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden (Tilia, Latin for lime tree), the quartet regularly appears with the Berlin State Orchestra and at the Berlin Philharmonie. The concert takes place in the Arndt-Bause-Saal.
