About
"Die Schildkröte hat Geburtstag" (The Turtle Has a Birthday) is a play after Elizabeth Shaw for children aged 4 and up, lasting 55 minutes. Directed by Annette Gleichmann and performed by Christine Müller and Irene Winter, it shows a turtle who wishes for a head of lettuce for her birthday, but receives a piece of meat from the lion and a bucket of water from the elephant instead. Only in the evening, when a little voice is heard – the mouse with a big parcel – does something change. The performance takes place at Das Weite Theater für Puppen und Menschen in Berlin.
