Disko Souk: John Morales, Femdelic, The Brahma (Special Disco Night)

Disko Souk is a special disco night at LARK featuring three DJs back to back. The event is put on by Disko Souk, whose face is The Brahma, a Moroccan-born, Berlin-based DJ who shapes the night together with John Morales and Femdelic. John Morales, a Brooklyn-born pioneer of the remix and a key figure in the evolution of disco and post-disco, returns to Berlin after almost ten years; Femdelic, born and raised in Berlin to a Congolese father and German mother, has been spinning vinyl since 2005 with a sound rooted in boogie, funk and disco. The evening also collects donations for Doctors Without Borders: a donation box stands at the entrance, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the organization.
